4.13.6. Check and adjustment of idling and contents WITH in the fulfilled gases

Adjustment is carried out on the engine which is warmed up up to the working temperature after check of technical condition of the engine.

Be convinced of normal functioning of a power supply system by fuel, serviceability of systems of an admission and release, system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases, hydraulic systems of brakes. Disconnect everything auxiliary consumers of the electric power. Before adjustment of idling carry out installation of an initial corner of an advancing of ignition.

Rasstykuyte socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve. Launch the engine, two-three times increase its turns up to 2000 — 3000 min. — 1; then return on the idling mode. Frequency of rotation of a bent shaft idling has to make (700±50) min. — 1 on cars with the mechanical transmission, (800±50) min. — 1 on cars with the automatic transmission. In case of need carry out adjustment by means of the adjusting screw located on the right side of the case of a butterfly valve (fig. 2.95). Join the socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve after installation of the recommended rotation frequency.

Contents WITH in the fulfilled gases has to make no more than 0,5%; at adjustment use a gas analyzer.
