4.13.3. Preliminary checks

Before check of KSUD it is necessary to carry out the works described below and to eliminate the malfunctions revealed at the same time.

Be convinced of serviceability of a chain of start of the engine: rechargeable battery, power wires and starter.

Be convinced available enough fuel of the corresponding quality.

Be convinced of the correct installation of the fuel filter, and also that it is not littered.

Be convinced of tightness of systems of regeneration of vapors of fuel and removal of crankcase gases and that hoses of system are not pressed.

Check the inlet pipeline: pipelines and laying have to be tight, collars are tightened, the filtering element pure.

The system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases has to be serviceable, pipelines are tight.

Check a condition of a chain of prestarting heating: an integrity and compliance of wires to the recommended characteristics.

The engine power supply system fuel has to be tight, dribbles in unions and pipelines are not allowed.

Be convinced of tightness of system of production of the fulfilled gases.

Check a state and adjustment of a cable of the drive of management of a butterfly valve: the course from an emphasis against the stop and ease of movement.

Estimate technical condition of the engine: check a compression, installation of an initial corner of an advancing of ignition, tightness of laying of a head of the block of cylinders, a condition of knots and units of system.
