4.10. Lubrication system



Lubricant of the engine is carried out under pressure created by the gear oil pump given from a bent shaft. The lubrication system includes, besides, an oil filter and the reducing valve which limits oil pressure.

The device of the lubrication system is shown in fig. 2.72 and 2.73.
The oil pump of gear type is installed in a forward cover of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution.
On the SR20DE engine the oil heater for additional cooling of oil is installed.

The sensor of pressure of oil (fig. 2.74) is screwed in the back plane of the block of cylinders on the right side from an oil filter. The alarm lamp of pressure of oil lights up at oil pressure drop lower than 0,2 kgfs/cm2.
The oil filter of 15208-H8903 Nissan engines non-demountable, is established from the back party of the block of cylinders. Over the plug of fastening of an oil filter there is perepuskny a valve which works in case of a contamination of an oil filter. Capacity of the filter is 0,4 l. When replacing oil the oil filter is replaced.
