1. General information

The complete description of the most important works on maintenance and car repairs of Nissan Almera of release from 1995 to 1999 with petrol engines of 1,4 is presented in this manual; 1,6 both 2,0 l of the GA14DE, GA17DE and SR20DE type and the 2,0 l diesel engine of the CD20 and CD20E type, with bodies the sedan and the hatchback.
In the management the design of cars is reflected in standard (basic) option therefore depending on modification and year of release a design of separate units and knots, an arrangement of a number of elements of system of electric equipment can differ from provided in the book.
The management will allow car owners to make independently repairs and to eliminate malfunctions of the car as the description of works is given in a form, available to technically prepared reader.
The evident description of repair procedures, abundance of drawings, schemes and tables will allow to pick up options of replacement of spare parts and to make necessary adjustments and repairs.
Special attention is paid to the description of works on a control system of the engine.
The recommended moments of an inhaling of the main threaded connections are given in the appendix.
