3.17.1. Cars with petrol engines

On cars with petrol engines, irrespective of a temperature condition of the engine, include a starter no more than on 10 with, without pressing at the same time a fuel supply pedal. If the engine does not begin to work with the first attempt, switch off ignition and approximately through 10 with repeatedly include a starter. At very hot engine at once after start of the engine it is possible to press a fuel supply pedal slightly.

       NOTES
After the long movement at a high speed before switching off ignition, let's the engine work idling about 2 min.
In excessively cold or hot weather launch of the engine can be complicated.
In this case start-up should be carried out with the pressed fuel supply pedal.
In summertime at launch of the engine killed more than 30 min. ago it is necessary to hold a pedal of the supply of fuel pressed against the stop.

After start-up it is necessary to allow to the engine to work idling not less than 30 pages. It is necessary to begin the movement with a moderate speed, especially in cold weather.
