3.21. Replacement of an oil filter

Unscrew the case of the filter (fig. 1.48). For some models of the engine the special key with the cap-type boss can be required.

Clear the landing surface of the filter pure rags. Remove old rubber laying from the landing surface of the engine. Oil rubber laying of the new filter engine. Install the new filter and tighten it to easy resistance, then tighten on 2/3 turns. Launch the engine. Examine a filter installation site regarding lack of a leak.

Under trying conditions operation (the city movement, dusty roads, etc.) is recommended to replace oil through each 6000 km of a run or two years of operation.
