8.2.9. Dismantling and assembly of the pump of the hydraulic booster

Remove a driving pulley. Remove a cover which fastens four bolts.

Take the stator 2 (fig. 6.11) and two pins 1 holding the stator from rotation. Remove a rotor 3 with blades, then a distributive disk, sealing rings and a spring. Take out a lock ring of the bearing installed in a pump housing, and a vypressuyta a shaft. Take a cuff by means of the screw-driver and remove the reducing valve.

Before assembly check a condition of the removed details. Replace details with traces of zadir, wear or deformed. Replace a cuff in a pump housing. Grease a surface of details before installation with working liquid of a hydraulic actuator of the amplifier.

Press a shaft, fix an external ring of the bearing by a lock ring. Establish into place a spring and a distributive disk with two new sealing rings. Put on a rotor a shaft. The rotor surface on which the tag is applied (see an arrow on fig. 6.11) has to be turned towards a driving pulley. Establish two pins 1 in a pump housing, then insert the stator 2. Grooves for pins on the stator conic. The stator has to be located so that a narrow part of grooves was turned towards a driving pulley. Establish into place a cover with laying, then tighten bolts the required moment. Install a driving pulley, the pump on the engine, put on a driving belt and adjust its tension. Remove air from system of the hydraulic booster of steering.
