8.2.3. Check of a free wheeling of a steering wheel

Establish a steering wheel in the situation corresponding to the rectilinear movement. Measure by means of a ruler a free wheeling on a rim of a steering wheel which should not exceed 35 mm; otherwise check a steering column, the steering mechanism and a suspension bracket of forward wheels for existence of excessive side plays.
