4.10.3. Removal and installation of the oil heater of the SR20DE engine

The oil heater is installed on the case of an oil filter and fastens a bolt in a back part of the block of cylinders (fig. 2.76).

Lift a forward part of the car and put it on supports.

Merge liquid from the cooling system. Disconnect hoses from the case of the oil heater. Mark the provision of a radiator before to remove it. Turn out the central bolt. You will substitute capacity for collecting the following oil. Remove sealing rings. Clear a radiator and blow it compressed air. If the radiator is damaged or corked, replace it new.

At assembly replace sealing rings. Establish a radiator on the tags made earlier. Tighten the central bolt. Execute the remained operations as it should be, the return to removal. Launch the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak. If necessary add oil and cooling liquid.
