4.5.3. Check of an axial gap of a bent shaft

Establish persistent half rings in nests of an average support so that flutes for lubricant were turned towards a bent shaft, install inserts of bearings in the block of cylinders. Grease and enclose a bent shaft in bearings. Establish to the place of a cover of bearings with inserts. Shooters on covers have to be directed towards the drive of camshafts. Tighten the set moment new bolts of fastening of covers. Install the indicator so that his leg rested against an end face of a bent shaft. Shifting by means of the lever a bent shaft in the axial direction, determine its movement by the indicator. If movement does not correspond to the recommended size, replace persistent half rings.
