4.9.2. Removal and installation of the water pump

Take off a belt of the drive of the water pump. Merge cooling liquid. Turn out bolts of fastening of a pulley of the water pump and remove a pulley. Turn out bolts of fastening of the case of the thermostat to the water pump. Turn out bolts of fastening of the pump and remove it. In the presence of a side play of bearings, wear tracks, deformation of working surfaces of the pump replace it.

Before installation clear a pump installation site of the remains of laying and sealant. Apply sealant on the cleared places and install the pump.

Execute other operations as it should be, the return to removal. Launch the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.
