4.7.1. Removal of a head of the block of cylinders

Dump pressure in an engine power supply system (see. "Removal and installation of the engine"). Remove the rechargeable battery. Lift a forward part of the car on supports or the elevator. Merge oil and cooling liquid from the engine. Remove a forward right wheel, a mudguard and the lower protective guards of the engine. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of the steering mechanism and by means of make-shifts fix it in a motor compartment, having taken aside and not disconnecting from it hoses. Release a cover of a head of the block of cylinders for what remove an arm bracket, disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case, remove the case of the air filter. Disconnect high-voltage wires from spark plugs and turn out candles. Uncover the drive and, turning a bent shaft, establish a tag on a pulley of a bent shaft against a tag on the block of cylinders. This provision of a bent shaft corresponds to finding of the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT at the end of a compression step. Make sure that cams of the camshaft of the 1st cylinder are directed up, uncover the ignition distributor. The rotor of the distributor of ignition has to be turned in situation "5 hours". Remove the ignition distributor, having remembered or having written down its situation on a head of the block of cylinders. Remove a forward cover of a head of the block of cylinders. According to fig. 2.17 disconnect hoses from a head of the block of cylinders. Remove the thermostat.

Be convinced available tags on asterisks and the corresponding links of a chain. If there are no tags or they are badly distinguishable, put them with paint.

Remove a natyazhitel of a chain of the drive of an intermediate asterisk and its laying. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain of the drive of camshafts.

By means of a wrench "on 22 mm" block camshafts from rotation (fig. 2.18) and turn out bolts of fastening of an intermediate asterisk and asterisks of camshafts. Remove a chain of the drive of camshafts together with asterisks. Remove an intermediate asterisk and its axis. In the sequence specified fig. 2.19 turn out bolts of fastening of covers of camshafts, uncover, having laid them in the order of removal, and take out camshafts. Disconnect a reception pipe of the muffler. Remove an arm of the inlet pipeline. Disconnect the hose suitable to the electromagnetic valve of recirculation of vapors of fuel from an absorber.

According to fig. 2.20 disconnect hoses and pipelines from the case of a butterfly valve, the regulator of pressure of fuel, the inlet pipeline and the valve of differential pressure.

To Rasstykovat electric sockets, to remove plaits of wires from a head of the block of cylinders. Disconnect fuel-supply lines from the fuel highway. Disconnect a cable of a butterfly valve. As it should be, the return provided on fig. 2.21, turn out bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders and take out them.

Make sure that all hoses and electrical wires are disconnected from a head of the block of cylinders and by means of the suitable lever to an otstykuyta a head from the block of cylinders together with the inlet pipeline and a final collector. Establish a head on a wooden surface by the socket plane down. Do not overturn a head in order to avoid drop-out of pushers.

Remove laying of a head of the block of cylinders. Remove a reception pipe of mufflers. Remove the lower cross-piece of a body. Remove antivibration struts on the power unit. On cars with the automatic transmission remove the lower protective cover of the hydrotransformer. Remove an oil case and an oil receiver of the lubrication system of the engine. Remove a pulley from a bent shaft.

Establish a prop under the engine. Remove the right arm of an engine mount. Remove a forward cover of the drive of camshafts (fig. 2.22) and take a cuff of a bent shaft. Be convinced available tags on links of a chain and an asterisk. In the absence of tags put them with paint. Remove the plug of the drive of the oil pump and an asterisk of a bent shaft with their splines. Remove an uspokoitel of a chain of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution and a chain.

Check technical condition of chains and asterisks. Wear of teeths, chips of rollers, wear of a chain are the basis for replacement of details. Be convinced of lack of considerable wear of a working surface of boots of natyazhitel. By means of chemical solvents and razmyagchitel clear of the remains of the removed laying of a surface of the block of cylinders and a head. Do not use sharp objects which can put damage to aluminum surfaces of details. You watch that foreign objects and the remains of laying did not get to engine pipelines. Check planeness of a head of the block of cylinders and the block of cylinders. Clean by means of a tap carving openings in the block of cylinders for bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders and blow them compressed air.
