9.5.2. Removal and installation of the vacuum amplifier

Remove the main brake cylinder. On cars with the diesel engine remove, without disconnecting hoses, an arm with the fuel filter. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the vacuum amplifier. Remove the lower board on a body floor. Remove sound insulation about a pedal. Remove the spring forelock and take the axis connecting a fork of the vacuum amplifier to a brake pedal. Turn off four nuts of fastening of the vacuum amplifier to a pedal arm. Remove laying, take aside and remove the vacuum amplifier.

Before installation check the and size of a vystupaniye of a rod which has to make 10,2 — 10,5 mm (fig. 7.14) at the annex to a hose of the vacuum amplifier of depression of 500 mm of a mercury column (33,332 kPa).

"Would" measure distance from the privalochny plane of the vacuum amplifier to an axis of an adjusting fork which has to be 125 mm. Adjust it by means of nuts

1 and 2. You make installation in the sequence, the return to removal. At the same time tighten threaded connections the ordered moment. Remove air from a hydraulic actuator of brakes. Check distance between a body floor and a pedal. In case of need make adjustment.
