5.3.4. Dismantling, check of technical condition and repair of a head of the block of cylinders

For dismantling establish a head of the block of cylinders on a suitable support. Remove an inlet collector, nozzles and starting candles. Remove by means of a stripper cogged pulleys from each end of the camshaft. Gradually weaken and turn off nuts of fastening of covers of bearings of the camshaft, mark and uncover bearings. Remove the camshaft and pushers, and then stewards from the camshaft.
Never use a magnet for extraction of pushers. It can lead to magnetization of a ball and, as a result, to violation of tightness of the backpressure valve. Besides, at installation pushers have to be in working situation to avoid hit of air in their cameras of high pressure. Remove valves by means of the device for compression of springs like FACOM U43LA. Lay one after another the removed details: crackers, plate of springs, springs, basic washer, valve. Remove maslootrazhatelny caps from the directing plugs of valves by means of special nippers. Remove cases of nozzles and take out thermoprotective washers. Remove glow plugs.
Carefully clear all details. Do not use a metal scraper for cleaning of the interfaced surfaces of a head of cylinders. Apply chemical Loctite Dexapjoint or Decaloc 88 solvent to this purpose.
Check a condition of valves and their saddles. If on them there are damages, a proshlifuyta by the corresponding NEWAY grinding wheels. The angles of grinding are specified in tab. 3.6. Check a gap between cores of valves and the directing plugs. Check a condition of the camshaft and its bearings. On cams and necks there should not be a considerable wear. Parameters for check are specified in the characteristic of the camshaft.
Establish on the new maslootrazhatelny caps directing plugs. Install the directing plugs, watching to damaging oil scraper caps. Establish basic washers of springs, springs and the top plates of springs.
Plates of final valves have the special device turning the valve in the axial direction for its uniform wear. It is not necessary to confuse them to plates of springs of inlet valves.
Establish into place crackers, previously having squeezed springs of valves adaptation. Grease pushers and insert them into the nests. Oil engine necks and cams of the camshaft. Install into place the camshaft and gradually tighten the set moment of a nut of fastening of covers of bearings.
Put new epiploons since each end of the camshaft. Establish an inlet collector, forward and back covers, cogged pulleys. Establish new thermoprotective washers, then nozzles and glow plugs.
Turn the camshaft so that valves of the 1st cylinder were closed.
