The electronic control unit (ECU), the relay before - and poststarting heating of the engine and the sensors signaling about operation of the engine are a part of system. The main indicators for work of EBU are temperature of cooling liquid of the engine and frequency of rotation of a bent shaft. EBU represents the Nissan A93-F09A15 6215 microprocessor with digital programming. The EBU plug socket on 48 conclusions has numbering with 1 on 40 and with 101 according to 108 (fig. 3.43). EBU is located in interior of the car under the central part of the dashboard (rice 3.44). EBU exercises control of the conditioner (at its existence), supports an optimum angle of an advancing of injection of fuel and frequency of rotation of the engine idling.

The constructive scheme of the control system of the engine (CSE) is represented in fig. 3.45. Purpose of conclusions of the EBU socket is given in tab. 3.14. Placement of units COURT is given in fig. 3.46, the electric circuit — in an insert at the end of the book.
For access to EBU it is necessary to remove the lower air duct of a heater, then the air duct bringing air to a body floor then EBU cover. The control lamp of inclusion of prestarting heating of orange color is located in a combination of devices.

Turning on of the relay before - and poststarting heating

Control of the valve of regulation of a corner of an advancing of injection of fuel

The inclusion relay before - and poststarting heating fastens to the panel of a forward left wing in a motor compartment behind the rechargeable battery. EBU connects on "weight" a chain of management of the relay through a conclusion "106" plug EBU sockets. On a power chain of the relay tension moves on heating candles.
Prestarting heating is carried out in two steps:
— during 3 from later installation of a key in the lock of the switch of devices and a starter;
— lasting from 3 to 20 with at a temperature of cooling liquid below 60 °C after turning on of the switch of devices and a starter in the provision of "ON"; at the same time the alarm lamp of prestarting heating in a combination of devices lights up at the beginning and dies away at the end of this stage of heating.
Poststarting heating begins after launch of the engine. Tension on glow plugs during poststarting heating moves during from 20 with till 5 min. (no more) while temperature of cooling liquid remains below 60 °C.
Resistance of a winding of management of the relay of 38 Ohms. The glow plugs of finger-type type which are fast-heating up. Resistance of 0,65 Ohms. The sensor of existence of a key in the lock of the switch of devices and a starter is built in the lock of the switch of devices and a starter. After installation of a key in the lock contacts of the sensor become isolated and voltage of 12 V moves on a conclusion "30" blocks of the EBU plug socket. The electronic control unit turns on the relay before - and poststarting heating.
The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid is installed on the right side behind a head of the block of cylinders. Internal resistance of the sensor decreases in proportion to temperature increase of cooling liquid. Information arriving from this sensor is used by EBU which establishes duration of the periods before - and poststarting heating, the size of a corner of an advancing of injection of fuel and gives permission to turning on of the conditioner and electric fans of the cooling system. Supply voltage of 5 Century.
The electromagnetic valve of regulation of a corner of an advancing of injection of fuel is installed on TNVD and "108" EBU sockets are operated through a conclusion. The electronic control unit changes a corner of an advancing of injection of fuel depending on temperature of cooling liquid and frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The sensor of frequency of rotation of the engine is installed sideways TNVD opposite to the tag fixed on TNVD shaft. The sensor gives the signal directly proportional to the frequency of rotation of TNVD, on a conclusion "17" blocks of the EBU socket. For one turn of a shaft of TNVD the sensor sends 37 impulses. Resistance measured between conclusions "5" and "4" TNVD sockets, 1,6 kOhm.
The relay of turning on of the conditioner is in the relay block installed on an arch of the right wheel in a motor compartment. EBU operates turning on of the compressor of the conditioner via the specified relay and the relay of pressure in system of circulation of coolant of the conditioner. Such way of control of the conditioner via various sensors allows EBU to control behind that turning on of the compressor of the conditioner did not cause violation of power setting. OTHERWISE EBU does not grant permission for turning on of the compressor, in particular when liquid temperature in the cooling system of the engine exceeds 105 °C. Idling, before giving permission to turning on of the compressor, EBU increases the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft by means of the electromagnetic valve to the mode of the accelerated idling. Supply voltage 12 V. Soprotivleniye of the operating winding of the relay of 75 Ohms.
The electromagnetic valve of the accelerated idling is installed on a front board about the fuel filter. At turning on of the conditioner idling of the EBU engine sends a signal to the relay which gives tension on the electromagnetic valve. It opens the depression pipeline from the vacuum pump to the vacuum proofreader of supply of fuel. The vacuum proofreader increases the frequency of rotation of idling up to 800 min. — 1. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The coolant pressure relay in system of climatic installation is installed on the dehumidifier located on the right side in a forward part of a motor compartment. The relay submits information through a conclusion "8" plug EBU sockets. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The sensor of speed of the movement of the car of inductive type, consists of the generator of impulses which is built in the speedometer drive on a transmission case. It develops a signal with a squared amplitude of 5 V which frequency changes in proportion to the speed of the movement of the car. The signal is given on EBU through a conclusion "16" speedometers in a combination of devices.
