7.2.4. Replacement of a nave of a back wheel

Nave — non-demountable knot therefore for replacement of the bearing it is necessary to replace a nave assembled.

Lift a back part of the car, put it on supports and remove a wheel from the necessary party. Depending on a complete set remove the brake drum or a guide of brake shoes and a brake disk (see. "Brake system"). Remove a protective cap of a nave and take out the forelock 2 (fig. 5.19) of a nut of 1 nave. Turn off a nut. Remove a nave of a back wheel.
You carry out installation of a nave as it should be, the return to removal, taking into account the following.
Check a nave surface, a condition of a carving part.
Replace the forelock.
Before installation of a cap fill it with lubricant.
The axial gap of a nave checked by the indicator has to make no more
0,05 mm.
