5.8.1. Design features

The electric circuit of the control system of the engine (CSE) is submitted at the end of the book.
The system includes EBU which key information parameters are temperature of cooling liquid, fuel temperature, frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine, VMT and position of the drive of supply of fuel.

EBU represents the microprocessor with digital programming. The EBU plug socket on 88 conclusions has numbering with 1 on 70 and with 101 according to 118 (fig. 3.47). Purpose of conclusions of the plug socket is specified in tab. 3.18. EBU is located in interior of the car under the central part of the dashboard. It operates prestarting and poststarting heating, a fuel injection advancing corner, an aktyuator of supply of fuel and the mode of idling. The block, besides, provides protection against overloads and prevents an engine stop at decrease in frequency of rotation of a bent shaft up to 1000 min. — 1. At installation of the lever of gear shifting in the neutral provision of EBU limits the maximum frequency of rotation up to 4000 min. — 1. If on the car the conditioner is installed, EBU operates turning on of the compressor for the prevention of failure of power setting. If on the car, besides, the immobilizer is established, then the signal after installation of a key in the lock of the switch of devices and a starter is compared to the signal which is written down in memory of an immobilizer. The signal of comparison is given on EBU which gives out or does not give permission to giving of food to a control system of the engine. In case of failure of some driving mechanism or the EBU sensor can support depending on malfunction operation of the engine in emergency operation. In EBU there is a surveillance program behind operation of sensors and other devices and records in memory of possible failures in their work. Reading of information from memory is possible only by means of the special diagnostic equipment which is connected to a block of the socket of diagnostics located under the block of safety locks in interior of the car (fig. 3.48).

The constructive scheme of system is represented in fig. 3.49, the electric circuit is given in an insert at the end of the book. Placement of units of system in interior of the car is represented нарис. 3.50, and in a motor compartment in fig. 3.51. The control lamp of malfunction COURT of orange color (EBU joins) is located in a combination of devices. Continuous burning of this control lamp indicates emergence of serious malfunction in a control system of the engine. At turning on of the switch of devices and a starter the control lamp of malfunction lights up and dies away through 3 from later launch of the engine. If on the car
the immobilizer is established, that blinking of a control lamp of malfunction at turning on of the switch of devices and a starter specifies that the immobilizer does not grant permission for launch of the engine. Connection of vacuum pipelines on the engine is given in fig. 3.52.

The relay of food of system is under the central part of the dashboard near EBU of a control system of the engine in interior of the car. Turning on of this relay is carried out by EBU through a conclusion "4". The power chain of the relay gives food on EBU through conclusions "56", "61", "116" and "117", then on the sensor of provision of a pedal of management of fuel supply. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The relay of turning on of the conditioner is in the relay block installed on an arch of the right wheel in a motor compartment. EBU through a conclusion "5" turns on the compressor by means of the relay of turning on of the conditioner and the relay of pressure in system of circulation of coolant. Using the signals arriving from various sensors, EBU controls that turning on of the compressor of the conditioner did not cause failures in operation of the engine. In opposite
case of EBU does not allow turning on of the compressor of the conditioner, especially if the sensor of provision of a pedal of management of supply of fuel gives a signal of pressing of a pedal against the stop, and also at an engine overheat. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The sensor of position of the roller of the TNVD drive of inductive type is installed sideways TNVD. The sensor sends to EBU the alternating voltage modulated on frequency so that four impulses arriving from a tag corresponded to two turns of the roller. Information also arrives on a tachometer. Resistance measured on conclusions "2" and "3" blocks of the TNVD 38-shtyrkovy socket of gray color at a temperature of 25 °C makes 1,6 kOhm.
The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid is installed on an output branch pipe of a head of the block of cylinders, on the back party on the right. Internal resistance of the sensor decreases in proportion to temperature increase of cooling liquid. Color of marking gray. Supply voltage of 5 Century.
The sensor of provision of an adjusting zolotnik of inductive type is installed under a cover on TNVD. The sensor gives a signal on EBU of the provision of an adjusting zolotnik of an aktyuator of supply of fuel. It consists of two coils and the metal ring connected with a fuel supply aktyuator axis. Moving in front of coils, the ring changes their inductance.
The calibration resistor is installed sideways TNVD. The resistor allows EBU to obtain exact information on adjustments and constructive characteristics of the fuel pump. Supply voltage of 5 Century.
Aktyuator of supply of fuel performs function of the mechanical regulator of supply of fuel to TNVD. It is run by the electronic block COURT. Aktyuator consists of the rotary magnet executed for a single whole with an adjusting zolotnik and a motionless electromagnet on which power supply by means of EBU moves. If food does not move, returnable springs move an adjusting zolotnik to non-working situation and interrupt fuel supply.
The electromagnetic valve of regulation of a corner of an advancing of injection of fuel is located under TNVD. At receipt of power supply from EBU electromagnetic and the valve changes the angular provision of a plunger of TNVD in relation to an axis of the driving roller.
The sensor of provision of a pedal of management of supply of fuel of electrometric type is installed on a pedal of management of supply of fuel in interior of the car. When pressing a pedal by the driver the sensor gives a signal on EBU which defines amount of injectable fuel. The sensor is connected by a cable to a pedal of management of fuel supply. Supply voltage of 5 Century.
The "idling — full loading" switch is built in the sensor. Contacts of the switch are opened when the pedal is completely released, and closed when the pedal is pressed against the stop. The switch gives a signal on conclusions "31" and "32" EBU sockets.
Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The switch of a pedal of management of supply of fuel is installed on a pedal of management of fuel supply, built in the sensor of provision of a pedal in interior of the car. Contacts of the switch are opened in situation "the pedal is completely released" and closed in situation "the pedal is pressed against the stop". At short circuit the switch connects on "weight" a conclusion "29" EBU sockets. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The sensor of raising of a needle of piezoelectric type is installed in a nozzle of the 1st cylinder. The sensor sends to EBU a signal of raising of a needle. This signal allows an electronic control unit to define the beginning of injection of fuel and to regulate a fuel injection advancing corner. The sensor consists of the core connected with a nozzle needle which moves concerning a winding of the coil and causes change of magnetic field.
The sensor of temperature of fuel represents the resistor with negative temperature coefficient. It is established under TNVD cover. The sensor transfers to EBU information on fuel temperature for correction of supply of fuel depending on its viscosity. Supply voltage of 5 Century.
The sensor of frequency of rotation and the provision of a bent shaft of inductive type is installed on the block of cylinders opposite to the disk having two cuts which form the impulse corresponding to a corner of provision of a bent shaft 70 ° to VMT in a sensor winding. The control lamp of inclusion of prestarting heating of orange color is located in a combination of devices. The lamp lights up when giving tension through a conclusion "16" EBU sockets.
The inclusion relay before - and poststarting heating fastens on the panel of the left forward wing in a motor compartment behind the rechargeable battery. Connection on "mass" of a conclusion of a chain of management of the relay is carried out through a conclusion "11" EBU sockets. Tension on glow plugs moves on a power chain of the relay. At inclusion of a key of the switch of devices and a starter in the provision of "ON" of a glow plug receive tension during 20 with while temperature of cooling liquid remains below 75 °C. The mode of poststarting heating begins right after launch of the engine. Glow plugs are powered from 20 with to
5 min. until temperature of cooling liquid exceeds 60 °C.
The glow plugs which are fast-heating up finger-type type. Candle resistance at a temperature of 25 °C makes 0,5 Ohms.
The sensor of speed of the movement of the car of inductive type consists of the generator of impulses which is built in the speedometer drive. The generator develops the rectangular impulse with an amplitude of 5 V modulated on frequency depending on the speed of the movement of the car. The signal is transmitted through a speedometer to combinations of devices to a conclusion "26" EBU sockets.
The sensor of position of the lever of gear shifting is located on a coupling case. It sends information of EBU on position of the lever of gear shifting. The sensor is in the closed state at installation of the lever of gear shifting in neutral situation. Contacts of the sensor are disconnected at inclusion of any transfer. At the same time conclusion "22" EBU sockets
it is connected to "weight". EBU prevents emergence of overloads idling and interruptions at the time of gear shifting. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The sensor of pressure of coolant of climatic installation is located on the dehumidifier placed ahead on the left side of a motor compartment. It transmits EBU a signal of pressure in system of circulation of coolant through a conclusion "15". Supply voltage of 12 Century.
Two electromagnetic valves of system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases are installed on the inlet pipeline and EBU of a control system of the engine through conclusions "103" and "109" cope. EBU gives permission to recirculation of the fulfilled gases depending on power setting, provisions of a pedal of management of supply of fuel and temperature of cooling liquid. The amount of the fulfilled gases which is selected for recirculation changes depending on the depression brought to the HORN valve which is run by two electromagnetic valves. Recirculation of the fulfilled gases depends, besides, from amount of the arriving air and is carried out only in that case when temperature of cooling liquid exceeds 70 °C. For definition of position of electromagnetic valves see tab. 3.19. Electromagnetic valves work in the mode of on-off regulation. Supply voltage of 12 Century.

The pneumatic valve the HORN of diaphragm type is established on the inlet pipeline. It serves for ensuring recirculation of a part of the fulfilled gases by the direction them in the inlet pipeline. The HORN valve connects to a final collector by means of the metal pipeline. It is run by two electromagnetic valves at depression from the engine. Movement of the membrane connected with the valve stops access of the fulfilled gases to the inlet pipeline.
Recirculation of the fulfilled gases and mixture of the fulfilled gases with the air coming to the engine causes decrease in content of oxygen in the soaked-up air and, as a result, mix burning fall of temperature that, in turn, reduces quantity of oxides of nitrogen (NOH) which are the main pollutants of the environment and make especially harmful effects on a human body.
The electromagnetic valve of the air gate of on-off regulation is located on the case of the air filter, about the air valve, and EBU through a conclusion "1" copes. EBU controls amount of the air coming to the engine depending on an operating mode, temperatures of cooling liquid and the provision of a pedal of management of supply of fuel. Control of amount of the arriving air is connected with the mode of recirculation of the fulfilled gases. While temperature of cooling liquid is below 70 °C, the air gate remains open. Supply voltage of 12 Century.
The pneumatic valve of the air gate fastens to the case of the air filter and operates the air gate at the exit of the air filter. In turn, the valve is operated the depression created by the engine via the electromagnetic valve of the air gate. Movement of the membrane of the valve connected with an axis of the air gate of management of air supply opens or closes the air gate.
