Establish a forward part of the car on supports. Remove the right wheel and a mudguard. Remove the lower guard of protection of the engine. Weaken the top fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering and the adjusting screw reduce a tension of a belt of the drive of the water pump. Take off a belt. Clear pulleys. Examine a condition of a belt. Lay a belt in streams of pulleys (fig. 2.69) and adjust the screw 2 a belt tension that when pressing by effort of 10 kgfs to a belt branch between pulleys of the water pump and pump of the power steering its deflection
made for a new belt 3 — 5 mm, for working 4 — 6 mm.
Delay fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering. Execute necessary assembly operations as it should be, the return to removal.
