4.7.2. Installation of a head of the block of cylinders

Install on the places the plug of the drive of the oil pump and an asterisk of the drive of a bent shaft together with their splines. Shponochny grooves have to be at the same time in situation "12 hours", and the tag on an asterisk has to be in situation "from the engine".

Establish into place an uspokoitel of a chain of the drive of an intermediate asterisk. Establish a chain of the drive of an intermediate asterisk so that the link of silvery color settled down against a tag on the asterisk of a bent shaft which is in situation "7 hours" (fig. 2.23).

Apply a sealant layer on a privalochny surface of a forward cover of the drive of camshafts. Be convinced available on the places of two sealing rings (fig. 2.24). Establish into place a forward cover of the drive of camshafts, watching that the plug of the drive of the oil pump entered a cover.

Establish a forward cover, having tightened its bolts: short the moment of 0,6 — 0,9 kgfs · m, long the moment of 1,6 — 2,2 kgfs · m (see fig. 2.22).

Put into place the right arm of an engine mount (the moment of an inhaling of bolts of 4,4 — 5,6 kgfs · l) then remove a prop from under the engine.

Establish into place an oil receiver with a new sealing ring. Apply a sealant layer on a privalochny surface of an oil case. Establish it into place and tighten cross-wise fastening bolts. On cars with the automatic transmission establish the lower protective cover of the hydrotransformer. Install antivibration struts on the power unit. Establish into place the lower cross-piece and tighten its bolts the moment of 7,9 — 10,0 kgfs · m. Establish a reception pipe of mufflers with new laying. To press by means of a mandrel of the corresponding diameter new a cuff of a bent shaft, previously having oiled it engine. Establish a pulley on a bent shaft. Insert and tighten the moment 13,5 — 15,5 kgfs · m a bolt of fastening of a pulley, having oiled it engine.

Establish an intermediate asterisk so that the tag on a big asterisk was in situation "1 hour" (fig. 2.25) and settled down against a link of a chain of silvery color. The tag on an intermediate asterisk has to be in this situation at distance of 40 links from a tag on an asterisk of a bent shaft. Establish a chain of the drive of camshafts on a small intermediate asterisk and combine a link of a chain of golden color with a tag which is in situation "4 hours". Establish an axis of an intermediate asterisk. Be convinced available adjusting plugs on the block of cylinders. Lay new laying of a head on the block of cylinders. Establish into place a head of the block of cylinders with the inlet pipeline and a final collector. Insert bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders with washers. Previously oil engine a carving part of bolts and an internal surface of heads of bolts. Facets on washers have to be directed to heads of bolts.

In the sequence shown in fig. 2.21 tighten bolts the set moment.

Tighten a bolt of fastening of an intermediate asterisk. Install camshafts, paying attention to their marking (fig. 2.15).

The pin of the camshaft of inlet valves has to be established on 10 — 11 ° below situation "9 hours", and establish a pin of a shaft of final valves at "12 o'clock" (fig. 2.26). Oil engine necks and cams of camshafts and establish covers according to fig. 2.16, then tighten bolts of fastening of covers in the sequence shown in fig. 2.27.

Apply a sealant layer on a docking surface of an additional support of the camshaft of final valves from the ignition distributor. In case of dismantling of the valvate mechanism it is necessary to check gaps in the mechanism of the drive of valves. Insert asterisks of camshafts into a chain of the drive of camshafts (the tag on an asterisk has to be turned "from the engine") and combine tags on each asterisk with silvery links of a chain. Put on asterisks socks of camshafts and establish their pins in grooves. Insert and tighten the bolts of fastening of asterisks which are previously oiled engine. Establish into place a natyazhitel of a chain of the drive of camshafts. For simplification of installation of a natyazhitel block his plunger by means of a metal core of the suitable diameter (fig. 2.28). After installation take out a core for an unblocking of a natyazhitel. Establish a natyazhitel of a chain of the drive of an intermediate asterisk by semicircular dredging down. Turn a bent shaft of the engine on two turns and return it to a point of initial installation (the piston of the first cylinder in compression step VMT).

According to fig. 2.29 check the accuracy of installation of camshafts and chains of their drive by quantity of links of chains between the tags specified in the drawing.

Put sing sealant on a privalochny surface and establish a forward cover of a head of the block of cylinders. Apply a sealant layer on the privalochny surface of the case of the thermostat and install the thermostat. Establish a pulley of the drive of the pump of cooling liquid. Install into place the distributor of ignition (fig. 2.30) and double-check that the piston in the 1st cylinder was in compression step VMT (ledges of cams are directed up), and the tags made at removal coincided (the rotor is in situation "5 hours"). Establish into place a cover of the distributor of ignition and connect to it wires. Check and if necessary adjust gaps in the mechanism of the drive of valves. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders with new laying. Screw spark plugs and connect to them wires. Establish a bracket of an arm of a head of the block of cylinders. Establish an arm of the inlet pipeline. Lay plaits of electrical wires. Join disconnected electrosockets. Execute the remained operations as it should be, the return to removal. Fill with cooling liquid the cooling system. Check the level of oil and other liquids. Launch the engine and be convinced of lack of leaks and normal operation of units.
