11.5. System of safety cushions and prednatyazhitel of seat belts
On some cars safety cushions for the driver and for the passenger of the right forward sitting, serving at collision of the car as means of passive safety are established.

The safety cushion for the driver is mounted in a nave of a steering wheel (fig. 9.50), for the passenger — around a ware box of the dashboard (fig. 9.51). The control unit of safety cushions for the driver and the passenger is located under a back part of the central console of the dashboard. At installation of a safety cushion only for the driver the control unit settles down in a nave of a steering wheel.
Before work on the dashboard, a steering column, forward seats, the centralized system of pillows and seat belts, and also before carrying out welding or body works disconnect the centralized system of pillows and seat belts.
