10.7. Onboard electric networkSources and the consumers of electric energy established on the car connect among themselves onboard electric network. Basic elements of electric network are connecting wires, means of protection of chains from overloads and short circuits, means of switching (switches and switches) both various connecting and distributing devices.
The design and functions of a part of elements of electric network of the car are considered above at the description of concrete products and systems. In this section missing information is provided.

For protection of knots of electric equipment and an electrical wiring against overloads and short circuits the fuses of plug type installed in assembly blocks are used. The block located in interior of the car under facing of the left part of the dashboard (fig. 8.17) includes the safety locks listed in tab. 8.7.
