Dismantling and assembly of the generator does not represent complexity if you are guided by fig. 8.3 in which the sequence of removal and installation of details is shown.

At survey of details check:

— a condition of brushes, degree of their wear, a prileganiye of brushes to contact rings and effort of pressing of brushes;

— appearance of contact rings. Clear contact rings the pure rags moistened in gasoline or trichlorethylene. Cleaning of contact rings is allowed only by fine-grained sanding paper;

PREVENTION It is forbidden to use for this purpose coarse-grained paper.

— condition of bearings. They do not demand maintenance as in them durable lubricant is put;

— appearance of a rotor and stator. Make sure that their windings have no breaks and traces of a podgoraniye.

PREVENTIONS Electric characteristics of the generator should not be checked in the scheme with tension more than 14 Century at all. Otherwise some elements of the generator can fail. Vypryamitelny diodes of the generator are very sensitive to temperature therefore at their replacement you make the soldering as soon as possible, using a soldering iron of low power.
